When I complained that I was warm but couldn't take my jacket off, Kat immediately came to my rescue. In a very Mary Poppins fashion, she started pulling options out of her bag, finally landing on her Hollywood Fashion Tape. I was a little skeptical it would hold, as I've never had luck with double sided tape, and in the past it's always left a residue on my clothing. But she reassured me of its strength with a story about a gala she attended and a friend's dress that popped open, and how the tape saved her from total embarrassment. My friend said she no longer ever goes anywhere without it. I certainly had less to loose than her friend did, and it worked for her, so I figured I should give it a try.
It worked beautifully! In fact, it was so strong that I almost got stuck in my dress later that evening. After removing the tape, there was no residue on my clothing. I decided then and there I needed to find this magical tape.
So it was to my absolute delight that I came home to a handwritten note this week from my friend. That alone (in its beautiful envelope!) would have been a lovely surprise, but she wrote because she was sending me my very own package of the tape! I used it the next day to hold a cardigan in place, and was again very, very pleased.
From this point on, I am taking my friend's lead, and never going to be without this tape. Being uncomfortable in something one is wearing can ruin an evening, so the way this tape corrects a wardrobe malfunction, and restores confidence, is absolutely worth its cost.
(I test a lot of products. In order for it to be a Products Worth the Price, it must be an item I've lived with for a while and absolutely will purchase again.)
